Interested in Writing for Us?
Whether you are looking to flex your writing prowess or are getting involved with Science Journalism for the first time, come write for Kinesis. Engage our readers in an enthralling piece, aimed to expand their understanding of areas you feel students on campus should know more about. You don’t need to be a STEM student to write for us, nor do you need to be studying the field on which your article focuses. As long as you feel confident in writing your article, you’re welcome to be a part of Kinesis!
If you want a feel for our style of writing at Kinesis and our editorial process, take a look at our introductory Writers and Editors Guide to see the work that goes into our publication. You will also find the key contacts of our amazing committee, who will be your first port of call.
Got an idea for an article?
Awesome! We look forward to reviewing your article and featuring it on our website. Kindly complete our article submission form below. Once we have reviewed the idea for submission, we will contact you and advise whether you can go straight ahead or if you need to develop your idea. Take your time when filling out this form — we want you to submit your best ideas, ones that you will be happy to run with.
Once you are given the go-ahead, one of our amazing editors will contact you, provide you with edits and ensure you produce the best article possible. If you have any questions, they are here to help.
